Telus BlackBerry 8350i Now Available

Telus’ PTT subbrand, Mike, just began showing off the push-to-talk BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8350i. We had seen this coming for awhile, and now it’s available for $249.99 on a three-year contract, $449.99 on two, $549.99 on one, or $599.99 with no strings attached. Among the first-generation Curves, the 8350i is the first to have both Wi-Fi and GPS in one device, and is also the first to bear the –50 designation. Maybe we’ll see some other iDEN ‘Berrys with that suffix in the future, but considering how long it took to upgrade from the 7100i, I wouldn’t count on it anytime soon. If this thing tickles your fancy, grab one now, and if you do, you might want to check out the OtterBox that just came out.
