LG Cookie KP501 in pink and silver hits Orange UK

Just in time for the Valentine’s Day, Orange UK has added a new device, affordable all-touchscreen LG Cookie KP501 to its portfolio. The phone will be available in silver and pink, with latter being perfect gift for February 14th.
Notice here that Orange has the KP501 version, which seems somewhat different from the original KP500. From what we can tell, buttons on this model are bit smaller. Other than that, expect all the same Cookie goodies including a 240×400 pixels touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, accelerometer, and so on.
Orange is selling the Cookie KP501 for 99.99 GBP on pay as you go, or for free for those willing to sign a contract.

Its out today (6th february) but not all stores got the lg cookie delivery because of the bad weather
The bottom line is that the KP500 is certainly no iPhone, but if a touchscreen is top of your feature list, it offers a relatively competent experience. There’s an on-screen Qwerty keypad, handwriting recognition and an automatically rotating screen — nothing revolutionary, but more than you get on most pay as you go phones. i got this phone on march 3rd and 2 days later it didnt work, took it back to the shop it turns out it had a faulty speaker, so they did a straight swap that phone also broke again a faulty speaker… turns out the whole batch was faulty speakers! other wise a v.good phone
