New Sidekick LX 2009 Spied

Here’s one more new device for the “Potential Mobile World Congress Announcement” pile… The Sidekick LX 2009 was shown to someone taking a survey, curiously enough. Maybe it’s just gaging interest for something that might not see the light of day, but never say never. Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Live Search and Maps are squeaking in, following Microsoft’s acquisition of manufacturer Danger. 3G, GPS, mobile YouTube access, are all new goodies to expect in the new device. Other specs include:

my main thing im lookin for in the new sidekick wood have 2 b the video…i hope the recording time is longer than 20 secs. glad 2 see the camera is gonna have better pix.

I LOVE sidekicks. My 1st one was the sidekick 2! (Big bulky VHS lookin thing).. I’m so happy they made the LX more durable then the rest of the sidekicks… I hope this new one will be too.
I don’t want a sliding screen.. Makes the phone hideous. I love the swivel its so unique. Its like the sidekicks trademark! (™)..
I already downloaded the Live Search for free (for the LX) and its pretty cool so far. Its fast too!!
I want it cause its my graduation year plus I need to upgrade…it looks kewl…cant wait…it needs to hurry up & come out

forget it, it still is using Danger so it’s not going to be hackable and the internet wont work on others carriers even after its unlocked. I guess T Mobile and Sharp don’t want to sell any new Sidekicks. YOU SUCK!!!!!
The Sidekick could have been the best thing out there but limiting it to only use the Danger OS won’t allow you do anything cool with it or get any apps that aren’t offered by T mobile. iphone or G1 are still the only choices until T Mobile pulls it’s head out of it’s ass and makes a competitive Sidekick. It’s tragic, i love my Sidekick LX but i can’t deal with all the limits and security that that has been built into it.

Uhm. So this phone is the shit I will let everyone know. I just got it and well I couldn’t be happier… I was about to swich to the iphone but this comeing out the kicks have won me back over.
