Two Jabra headsets earn three 2008 Product of the Year awards

Two Jabra headset have earned three 2008 Product of the Year awards:
- First, Customer Interaction Solutions — publication covering CRM, call centers and teleservices — selected Jabra’s GN9125 and M5390 Multiuse headsets as 2008 Products of the Year.
- Then, Internet Telephony — “the IP Communications Authority since 1998″ — awarded Jabra’s M5390 Multiuse headset a 2008 Product of the Year award for its innovation.
Jabra M5390 Multiuse connects mobile and PC-based soft-phones or desk phones. Using Bluetooth it can pair with up to 8 devices. Not exactly optimized-for-mobile, the M5390 comes with Jabra PC Suite with e-hook functionality for Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Office Communicator, Skype and Cisco IP Communicator. Rest of the specs include wideband audio and noise cancelling microphone, true wideband sound quality and two wearing styles (earhook and headband). The device is available for $191.
As for the Jabra GN9125 it’s designed to allow office workers mobility throughout the office without losing calls — maximum range is 300 feet. Feature wise, it supports four-way conferences, three different boom arms with various microphone options for quiet or loud environments, remote call answering/ending functionality, and a battery that can sustain up to 12 hours of talk time.
