Hi everyone.

i was wondering if someone could help me in regards to my ihpone 3g

current firmware installed is 2.2.1 (5H11)

Im basically looking to activate the phone. I have quickpwn but I keep getting it wrong

Hi i got Iphone 3g unfortunately I updated to 2.30.0 baseband now i tried to downgrade but my iphone has 5.9 bootloader so thats not working through downgrader software. so do u have any other updated software to unlock my iphone. please inform me if u have any solution please let me know

hi all my iphone is version 2.2.1 with modem firmware of 01.30.03,
it has been jailbroken at the shops before but went crazy and all went wrong so i restored it via itunes 7.0 and is standard now,

my question is can i do it myself if so what tools do i use and can it be restored through itunes if i do it. should i risk it or not ?????

i updated ‘via itune 8′ my 3g iphone to 2.2.1 (5H11) firmware 04.24.02
it’s jailbroken, but simlocked

I had a 2.2 with baseband 2.28x and had it running yellowsn0w. All was well and then i updated the firmware to 2.2.1. I kept my baseband at 2.28 so that yellosn0w would run.
I was one of the unlucky ones who’s WIFI packed up after the update. So I sent the iphone back and got a replacement. Guess what, it came back with the latest 2.2.1 firmaware and baseband 2.30x. I’m gutted because I need this phone unlocked, as i’ll be leaving the country with it in a few weeks time. So it looks like my iPhone is useless, now!

hi dev team,, i have iphone 3g,16gb wit firmware 2.2 running,, 1st it was 2.1 aftr upgrading to 2.2 , unlocking , jail breaking my phone,, i found my iphone turn to heating machine while i use wifi,mail, safari or if i play any game or so,,, i saw loads of gigs n gags abt the firmware 2.2.1,it will update the baseband so yellowsnow cant unlock it,can any of my friend out there can suggest me to upgrade my firmware without ,, re locking n un jail braking my iphone plsssssssssssss,,lots of thanx in advance!!

Ciao…ho seguito tutta la procedura con quickpwn 2.2.5 ma mi si blocca proprio al più bello cioè nella parte finale. Mi rimane con il logo della mela e poi più niente se non che dal pc si sente il suono di collegamento dell iphone. Vi chiedo aiuto….Grazie mille fatemi sapere…

Dear Dev Team;

I just have a small question, i jailbroke the iphone a few times. and most times when i install applications and try to run it, it states “The application xxx cannot be opened”

Although the other time i jailbroke my iphone everything worked out and all programs ran smoothly.

Is there something wrong that i’m doing that causes this?

Would appreciate your hepl.

i had to have my iphone 3g replaced and i had my original one pwned and it worked fine, now, i cannot actually “recover” the newly created software. I keep getting the message that an unknown error occured and it cannot recover the software. what do i do? i cannot jailbreak this phone for some reason… i am using 2.5.5 on 2.2.1… fyi, every time i try to DFU it iTunes opens before it finishes the final step and gives me the first expected error immediately. it’s after this that i cannot do ANYTHING unless i do a reset on the phone in which case it is in recovery mode, but will not accept the software… PLEASE HELP! THANks
