FlyCast now available on Android

After successfully cornering the iPhone market, entering BlackBerry and desktop computers‘ realm, the makers of the popular “alternative to the satellite radio” decided it’s about time to get their feets into the “Android world.” We’ve heard them on this during this year’s CES and now the beta version of FlyCast for Android is available through FlyCast’s website and via Android Market.

For those not familiar, FlyCast is a free service, which features well over 1,200 channels of music, news, sports and weather that you can listen to and watch anywhere. Most FlyCast channels work on low bandwidth connections, so you can listen on your phone even when there are no 3G connections around.
