G1 Landing in Australia Tomorrow?
By Simon Sage on Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 at 8:33 AM PST In Android, HTC, Rumors

Optus and HTC could be releasing the G1 in Australia tomorrow via Optus, no doubt to the chagrin of Kogan, who had won over plenty of attention to their Android-packing Agora handsets, only to have them indefinitely delayed. Support manuals had slipped out in January supporting the claim, although it didn’t mention any time frames. Although we await new Android hardware at Mobile World Congress with bated breath, the G1 still has a lot of coutries it has yet to visit (*coughCanadacough*), and will likely pave the way for the second gen devices – that is, unless, we meet another industrious, Kogan-like manufacturer who thinks they can get Android phones to market before HTC does.

Australia or not I’m not sure, but HTC Dream will be available in Singapore by the end of Feb.
