GeoSIM Global SIM card allows data roaming around the world

Whilst data has been available for sometime on regular SIM cards, it’s relatively new to global, or international SIM cards. No more, thanks to GeoSIM and their GeoSIM Global SIM Card, which is now data enabled! This means that you’ll keep your mobile internet even while you’re travelling, without needing to find a WiFi-enabled place.
The problem, however, is that you won’t have 3G everywhere. Still, GeoSIM says that it is available in around 90 countries, while elsewhere you’ll have to settle for GPRS or EDGE. Still, when you need to check out your email quickly, even GPRS can do the job.
Commenting on the announcement, Ed Neal of Geodesa Limited, which distributes GeoSIM said: “Up until today, GeoSIM could only be used for voice and SMS. Now customers can benefit from the convenience of having GPRS Data, email, SMS and voice all on one global SIM and with the benefit of the large savings GeoSIM offers when using mobiles abroad.”
