Congress iPhone app

There’s a new application available in the AppStore called Congress+, which offers all of the vital information an U.S. citizen need to be an effective activist in between congressional elections.

The application features photos, district maps, latest news including election results, campaign finance information, and official bios. Additionally, you can view or search by the full Congress, the House or Senate, or search directly for your Delegates, Representatives or Senators. Moreover, you can easily connect with your Senators and Representatives with office telephone numbers, contact forms, Twitter links, as well as get contact information of their staff.

Finally, if you plan to visit DC in some time, the app integrates Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Maps, providing you with directions how to reach the man/woman from your district…

Enough said. Congress+ is a great app for everyone who wants to be involved in the political process. I guess every U.S. citizen should care about this, right? The app is available for 10 bucks in AppStore, while lighter version simply called Congress, could be yours for a buck.
