Bell Launches OS 4.5.0.177 for the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition

Bell Mobility has officially launched OS 4.5 for the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8830 World Edition smartphone. Bell is the first carrier in North America to launch OS 4.5 for the 8830, so drink it up folks!

I have installed this on my Verizon 8830WE and it works like a champ. The GPS even works with BBMaps now. Google Maps still doesn’t see the GPS, but I’ll settle for BBM when I need location tracking. Thanks Bell!
this new version has not seem to resolve the 2 second delay while answering calls.. also why leave the wireless uppgrade option half way.. might as well upgrade it completely..
