Bell Launches OS 4.5.0.177 for the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition

bell8830Bell Mobility has officially launched OS 4.5 for the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone. Bell is the first carrier in North America to launch OS 4.5 for the 8830, so drink it up folks!

    I have installed this on my Verizon 8830WE and it works like a champ. The GPS even works with BBMaps now. Google Maps still doesn’t see the GPS, but I’ll settle for BBM when I need location tracking. Thanks Bell!

    this new version has not seem to resolve the 2 second delay while answering calls.. also why leave the wireless uppgrade option half way.. might as well upgrade it completely..
