Paragon releases VOX General Spanish Dictionary for iPhone, Windows Mobile and Symbian S60

Paragon is bringing yet another dictionary to mobiles. This time they’ve partnered with the leading reference publisher in Spain, VOX, to release “talking” VOX General Spanish Dictionary for iPhone and iPod Touch, Windows Mobile and S60 smartphones. The new application contains all varieties of European and Latin American Spanish while Paragon’s SlovoEd engine compresses the dictionary content to a minimum of memory space at the same time allowing the user to “perform multiple learning and word reference functions as quickly as possible.”

As for the dictionary’s database, VOX General Spanish Dictionary contains 52.423 entries, 112.000 definitions, and 20.000 Spanish audio pronunciations pre-recorded by native speakers. Standard SlovoEd features apply here as well, providing cross-reference, History, quick search, and more.

VOX General Spanish Dictionary for iPhone/iPod Touch is available for 18.99 EUR ($24.99), for Windows Mobile devices – for 36.95 EUR, and for S60 smartphones – for 34.95 EUR at Paragon’s website.
