LG goes live with LG Incite in South Korea

lg-incite-koreaLG is expanding its reach with the LG Incite, which you will probably remember as the upgraded GSM variant of the LG Dare. The LG Incite has just gone live in South Korea, bringing with it the same Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, 3-inch touchscreen display, aGPS, WiFi, 3G data connection (HSDPA), and 3-megapixel camera that we saw in the US LG Incite when it launched back in November of last year.

It’s not everyday that we see mobile phones debuting in the US and then making the jump to Asian markets with nary a change to the spec-sheet. The LG Incite was apparently good enough in its current form for SK Telecom and KTF to snatch up the handset for their own Korean subscriber-base. Whatever the case, it’s good to see LG bringing their LG Incite to the cameraphone fans in Korea.

Look for the LG Incite to be available from KTF and SK Telecom in the second half of 2009.
