Apple Reaches 20,000 App Milestone in the App Store

What do you get when you build an awesome on-device App Store that reaps huge profits for developers worldwide? You get the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) App Store, which has just crossed the 20,000 app mark! Congratulations to Apple and all of the hard working developers out there that have been busting their butts putting together fine applications for the iPhone.
Considering the App Store only opened with a few hundred apps, it has come a long way. Not long ago (Jan. 16th) Apple passed over the 15,000 app mark. Now that the 20,000 mark has been hit, 30,000 surely can’t be that far away. Check out the graph below that charts App Store App Growth since launch. Very interesting.
