Spb Wallet 2.0

Spb Software, which we usually know for its Windows Mobile apps, is attempting something different, better I might add. Their latest application Spb Wallet 2.0, which is designed to securely store sensitive information, is released for multiple platforms – Windows Mobile, Symbian S60 and iPhone, included. In addition, there’s a desktop component that helps users keep their data in sync, even when they swap phones, which is kinda neat.

Key features:

  • Strong AES 256 encryption
  • Integrated online templates gallery with 7,000+ most popular cards, and option to order customized cards for free
  • Improved integration with Firefox and Internet Explorer: protection from phishing, login auto-complete for familiar sites, automatic capture of login information for new ones
  • New desktop synchronization engine: synchronization with GMail, network folders, iPhone via Bonjour
  • Automatic wallet lockup and clipboard cleanup
  • Active card fields: open web sites, send emails, send text messages, make phone calls, and copy data to clipboard – straight from Spb Wallet
  • Importing wizard, password generator, quick search
  • Windows Mobile version also boasts a new finger-friendly UI, adaptive skins, smart scrolling, gestures, animation effects, and a new logon panel

Interested? Spb Wallet for Windows Mobile or Symbian is available for $29.95, while the iPhone version could be yours for 10 bucks ($9.99). A free, 15-day trial version is available for Symbian and Windows Mobile users from Spb Software’s website. During the limited period, users of Spb Wallet 2.x for Windows Mobile get the Symbian version for free, and vice-versa. Likewise, all Spb Wallet 1.x users who have purchased the product within the last 90 days, can exchange the previous version of software for the newly released one, for free.
