T-Mobile unleashes BlackBerry Curve 8900 on US soil!

It’s finally here! The BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Bold 9000’s slimmer, 3G-less sibling has just left T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s starting gates as the latest BlackBerry Curve to hit American soil. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 has been launched by T-Mobile for the right-old sum of $199.99 when purchase with new, 2-year contract.
Unfortunately, the announcement is a bit anti-climactic for BlackBerry fans with a finger on the pulse of the mobile blogosphere. Rumors of the BlackBerry 9300 “Gemini” (or, the “A-Rod,” as James would have it) coming down the product pipeline as a 3G-toting Curve flagship have somewhat muted T-Mobile’s official BlackBerry Curve 8900 launch. But, if 3G isn’t a deal-breaker, and you just have to have the latest BlackBerry Curve in your pocket, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 should do you just fine.

Quick recap – the BlackBerry Curve 8900 sports a 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, a 480×360 resolution display, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Not a bad feature-set for the price. Of course, the $149.99 price-point that we had hoped to see would have been even better…

SWEEEEEET,
To bad AT&T Doesn’t carry the 8900?
Ah well, I’m still gonna buy one from T-mobile
and then I’ll just get it unlocked at BlackberryUnlockingOnline.com
I’m new to Blackberrys, but I’m sure the new 8900 will be great!
