Mafia Game Makes an Offer your iPhone can’t Refuse

SGN has recently launched an iPhone game, Mafia: Respect and Retaliation. Apparently it works by buying in-game money with real money, effectively giving those who are willing to empty their bank accounts the upper hand. Regardless, Mafia: Respect and Retaliation focuses a lot on geo-awareness with local player versus player fights, as well as Dons controlling certain areas and teams of players. It’s a cool idea if you can get enough players in your area. For those who want to get the mobile gangster gaming on without having to pump in cash all the time, iMafia and iMob Online remain popular free choices, although production values are a bit lower. I had played SGN’s Warbook game for awhile on Facebook, and it was definitely good fun, but I could see a continual buy-in model not working so well. Check out the iTunes App Store to give any of the above a shot.
