More Unofficial OS Updates for BlackBerry Storm 9500 and 9530

Late last night, you may or may not have noticed yet another OS update for the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm hit the interwebs. Not only is the update for the 9500, but the 9530 received an update as well! Both of these updates are very unofficial… So you know what I’m going to say now, right? Backup your device, take all necessary precautions… And good grief only proceed if you know what you’re doing 
The update for the BlackBerry Storm 9500 has gone to OS 4.7.0.106, and the 9530 has gone to 4.7.0.103. Please as always proceed with caution. Download links are below. Happy OS updating!

The “unofficial” Storm OS updates are being released seemingly between RIMM’s breaths. When will the official and updates catch up with them? It’s been two months! We would like to have these bugs fixed and be able to experience the improvement in its operation and use. What’s the delay?
I agree. I am tired of hearing about all of these updates being unofficial. Is this RIMM’s way of testing them to see if they work or is it just a tease. It cant be that hard to fix software that they created in the first place. They have had at least 2 months since the first update!!
OK. i’m Over it! in the last three months and numerous phone calls to BB and Vodafone awaiting this so called update …I have recommended anything but this so called “storm crap smart??? phone. I will make RIM pay for the amount of time, energy and not including money they have cost me, How? easy! anyone who asks ” hey what is the BB Storm like?” …i’ll reply; Mate, don’t touch it with a 10 foot pole and if you accidently touch one without gloves, disinfect your hands and seek the healing qualities of an iphone.
