img_3108The Samsung Ultra Touch was the last of three new handsets announced by Samsung today (the Blue Earth got an honourable mention). The S8300 is a classy little number with a slide-out keypad, full AMOLED WQVGA screen that clocks in at 2.8″ and 240 x 400 pixels. It’s packing an 8 meagpixel camera (like just about every other new phone these days, it seems), with auto-focus, face detection and geotagging through its integrated GPS unit. The TouchWiz UI wasn’t anything new, and based on the slide of the Blue Earth handset, we’re presuming it will run the same. Other specs of the Samsung Ultra Touch include:

  • HSDPA 7.2 Mbps
  • Quad Band EDGE
  • 8 Megapixel CMOS camera
  • FM radio, stereo Bluetooth
  • AGPS
  • 110 x 51.5 12.7 mm
