Recession fightin’ Bailout Bonanza coming to an iPhone near you

Bailout Bonanza

PlayScreen has created a new iPhone game to remind us all of the times we live in. Touted as the fast, fun and furious arcade-action games – the so called Bailout Bonanza sees you catching bundles of cash being thrown by a greedy executive. At the same time, just like the former U.S. President – you should watch out for the occasional shoe toss. If you miss a moneybag or get hit by a shoe, you lose one of your baskets and make the greedy exec very happy, and that of course, is not the point.

As it’s the case with many other iPhone games, you can either play with your finger or by moving the device around and take advantage of the built-in accelerometer.

Finally, it’s worth adding that there’s an additional twist PlayScreen included in the mix to entice the sales – they’ll donate 5% of each sale to The United Way, which is kinda neat.

More information is available from this page, and there’s also a short demo video of the game, which follows after the jump. The game, however, is still not available in the AppStore.

That is the most politically-charged game I’ve seen in awhile.

Just a quick update. PlayScreen is proud to announce that we have selected The Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties as the charity that will receive 5% of the sales of Bailout Bonanza.
