Want an LG GD910 Touch Watch Phone? Got a grand?

Oh, what price we pay to be on the cutting edge, nay, the bleeding edge of technology. The 3G-capable LG Touch Watch Phone that LG showed off so proudly at CES Las Vegas 2009 has just been priced for all to envy. Apparently, it’ll cost you a cool grand (£1,000) to put an LG GD910 Watch Phone on your wrist, and that’s not even including the monthly data plan costs that you’ll need to splurge on if you want to use your LG Watch Phone as more than, well, just a watch.

We’re hearing that the LG Watch Phone might be subsidized by Orange to a more palletable £500 when it drops in the UK. Of course, that will tie you down on a two-year data plan costing about £40 a month. But, for those of you mobile enthusiasts with an unhealthy need to grab at the latest and greatest mobile tech, we doubt some trifling barriers like a ridiculous price-tag will keep you from whipping out the credit card post haste.
