According to a post over at Pinstack, OS 4.5.0.135 may be available to BlackBerry 8830 users. It seems as though if you use RIM’s web upgrade service, you could very well get the fancy new, official OS. When I first noticed this I thought ‘that’s kind of strange’, but hey, maybe this is the real deal. If nothing else it’s worth a look-see to see if it works for you.
For RIM’s web upgrade service hit up http://na.blackberry.com/eng/update. You’ll need to be running Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer on a Windows PC to have this work. Sorry Mac fans.
