MTN Ghana has now introduced “3.5G” technology in to it’s network, giving subs the opportunity for hi-speed download loveliness! Obviously with this speed boost, comes a lot more potential in respect of data service and large-payload multimedia objects. As with most 3.5G rollouts, it’s a phased approach, and much like usual, it’s mobile broadband that is being touted as one of the main drivers.
Giving ubquitous access to the InterWeb (via laptop or smartphone) is a wonderful thing – let’s hope the rollout continues apace!
