To start with, the shop doesn't actually look as nice as the photos imply. Customer service wasn't up to my expectations. Only one staff was behind the counter. I grilled her knowledge on the HTC Hero, and it turned out that she isn't well-informed about the phone. For example, here are a few exchanges: ME: Does the HTC Hero have alphanumeric keypad instead of the QWERTY? STAFF: *takes a look at the HTC Hero* Uh, sorry but this model only has QWERTY. ME: If I wanted to update my firmware, what should I do? STAFF: If I'm not mistaken, the firmware is already the latest. ME: But HTC just released a new firmware. STAFF: Really? Oh, let me check. *Googles it up* Oh yeah, then you can download it via your computer. Really, this is supposed to be a HTC Customer Care center, but the staff only knows the phone at surface-level.
