Customize Your BlackBerry With a Red Trackball

Tired of that plain ‘ol white trackball on your BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM)? Well, if you’re handy, know how to do a little take-apart/install/re-attach… then you should be all clear to pick up this item. The folks at CNN.cn are selling red blackBerry trackballs for installation in most BlackBerry devices. The trackball assembly should fit nicely in any 88xx, Bold 9000, Curve 883xx, Pearl 81xx and Flip 82xx series.
If anyone out there does actually buy one and install, I’d love to see the end result. I’m happy with my Berries the way they are thanks… But this is a cool little replacement part that some might find fun to install. The description of the item on CNN.cn calls for a video demonstration on how to install… Unfortunately as I write this, said video appears to be absent from their site. Purchase and install only if you know what you’re doing, please
Pick one up at CNN.cn for $7.99.

I like my Blackberry smartphones like I like my women: Without body modifications!
I think I’ll pass on this one even though 8 bucks aint bad for a customization.
Hmm, might be cool, but not for me.
I just got one and installed it myself . Its pretty cool.
