Motorola Touch Zine HD looks awesome, too bad it’s probably fake

Motorola Touch ZINE - HD

What do you think about the image above? Wouldn’t it be awesome to see Motorola (NYSE: MOT) announcing such a device? That’s not unimaginable, since all the technology required is already in place. Unfortunately, I doubt we’ll see the struggling American handset maker going that route.

Anyway, the device in question is called Moto Touch Zine HD and as you can see, it rocks — sporting an all-touchscreen form factor and tons of goodies under the hood. Among its specs, we highlight NVIDIA Tegra chip, HDMI connectivity, 1080p HD video playback, 5-megapixel camera that can record videos in HD, 16GB on built-in storage. Android OS is running the show, and there are also some Motorola apps pre-installed, such as MotoVideoMaker, MotoMusicMaker and MotoImageMaker.

Again, the question is – is this a real device or just a mockup? The image above came from from Christyan Yury, aka Yury Cassini from Brazil, who says this baby is in development and that he’s part of the team. We don’t buy it! No matter how I would love to believe Motorola could pull this off, I can hardly imagine them announcing such a phone. Again, I would LOVE to be wrong…

C’mon Moto, are you reading this? Get your act together and show us some Android love. Please. ;)
