Samsung r211

Cricket Wireless has a new phone in its offering, Samsung r211, which as you can see from the image above is as simple as a phone can get. 3G data is out and so is a decent screen. Rather, this entry-level device comes with a 128×128 pixels screen which should provide just enough space for SMS reading/sending and calling information. So if you need any — and by all means I mean “any” — serious mobile phone function – look further.

Cricket is selling the r211 for $89.99 without any contract-signing requirements, which is still kinda steep for “a number of features” the device offers…

my husband & i just added a phone to my account & he bought this phone. i seem to like it, i have a motorola w315 which i’ve had for quite a while & would like to have bought a new one, but he was in need of one. also, it was $89.00 but that was with a car charger & case…if you opt not to get the accessories right away, they take $ off of the phone purchase, plus you get a $50 mail-in rebate, so by the end… we only spent about $22 on it.
