The SBMP-N90 has nothing to do with the Burj Al Arab!

Here’s a phone that wants to steal some of the thunder from the world’s famous building – Burj Al Arab. As you can see from the image above, the Chinese designers behind the device obviously thought that by affiliating their baby with the impressive Dubai structure could be beneficial for the sales. Unfortunately, they haven’t executed properly and as a result the SBMP-N90 is a poorly speced device, sporting GSM/GPRS connectivity and a 1.3-megapixel camera. If someone had asked me how I would envision the official Burj Al Arab phone, I would say it must boast the ultra-high megapixel count camera, HSPA connectivity, large capacitive touchscreen, possibly the full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, and a whole lot more. Unfortunately, no one asked me a thing.
