Sprint has a history of messing up. They are the ONLY major big 4 carrier to lose customers last quarter. They lost almost all their investment in Nextel. They are teaming up with two dying companies to provide handsets: Motorola , the sole (excluding Rim/Blackberry) iDen handset maker in the world and Palm, a company basically gamling everything on the upcoming Palm Pre. I guess birds of a feather flock together. One of Sprint's few brightspots, the iDen based prepaid MVNO Boost Mobile started off promising but has tripped and stumbled with poor services and nationwide voice/text outages. Sprint needs to make some massive turnarounds or Clear will be just another Sprint failure.
