Touchscreen Slider from Motorola Leaks, Due to Land on Verizon

Some pictures of yet another Motorola (NYSE: MOT) phone have bubbled up from the intertubes: the Rival A455. It’s nothing too fancy – a simple QWERTY slider/touchscreen combo, but based on the specs, the Rumor will be a solid texter for Verizon (NYSE: VZ).
- Dual band CDMA connectivity (800/1900 MHz) with 1X/EV-DO
- Stereo Bluetooth
- VZ Navigator support (so it has GPS?)
- 3.5mm headset jack
- MP3 player
- E-mail, Instant Messaging
- USB 2.0
- 2MP camera with video recording
- MicroSD/SDHC card support
- 97 x 51 x 18 mm
- 125 grams
On top of that, the QA4 Halo leaked last month alongside two other phones has apparently been re-dubbed the Evoke, and has some specs to follow-up.
- Touchscreen display with virtual QWERTY keyboard (the screen’s resolution is probably 240 x 400 pixels)
- Bluetooth with A2DP
- MP3 player
- E-mail, Instant Messaging
- Voice recognition
- 2MP camera with video
- MicroSD / MicroSDHC support
- 108 x 50.5 x 17.5 mm
- 128 grams
Mobile World Congress may have been some dead air for Motorola, but it looks like they held back some worthwhile phones from display. Hopefully we can see these ones on the market soon.
