Ericsson has signed a contract with Turkcell to be the main supplier for WCDMA(3G) and HSPA (3.5G) services. This means that from a customer proposition perspective, Turkcell will be able to roll out Mobile Broadband services across Turkey – something that we now is a major cash-cow.
The agreement extends to a complete e2e network solution – that includes the RAN (radio access network), and IP-o-Ethernet mobile-backhaul solution, using microwave transmission – all necessary for a seamless transformation in to the blistering speeds of today’s wireless! Ericsson will also be delivering on the Professional services front too – including everything from systems integration to tech support.
