What a surprise…No USB cable..$40.00 plus for one of those…And get this..It comes with NO users manual!!!!
Keep looking…This ones going back!!
Phones rarely come with USB cables anyway – at least this one comes with a headset – and the user’s manual is found on the fido.ca website to download (acrobat file) – I like that Fido’s trying to reduce wasted paper (and heavier shipments) – if that results in maintaining lower prices, I’m all for it.
While most phones do not come with a USB cable, this one being no exception, they bloody well should! Any device that can play your MP3s should come with one. Sure the phone can play music but by the time I get a micro SD card and a USB for the phone I could have bought a 4GB iPod shuffle for the same price. Not a smart move, this money grab of theirs.
In the same vein, the headset uses the same jack as the missing USB so regular headphones are out of the picture.
You can get nicer headphone than those that come with, but their not cheap.
That aside – The phone has no “manual” but it does include a tiny but sufficient quick start guide to get you going and introduce you to the menus. If you need more go to the internet.
I say, overall, not bad for the price, but I’m getting an iPhone when my contract is up for renewal.
