Touch-enabled Motorola QA4 slider spotted at the FCC

Let’s face it, Motorola (NYSE: MOT) needs a miracle to survive. The recently spotted at the FCC’s website, QA4 slider may be a step in the right direction, even though we’re not 100% sure what’s all inside. From what we can tell, it’s a CDMA-based handset working on 850, 1700 and 1900 MHz bands that also supports high-speed EV-DO data. Rest of the specs include GPS receiver (aGPS), Bluetooth, large touchscreen, some camera that can take both photos and videos, microSD memory card slot, and an ability to share and access images and video clips to/from YouTube and Picasa.

At the moment, Motorola is still quiet about the QA4 and so are potential carrier partners like Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and Sprint (NYSE: S) – meaning we’ll still have to wait and see which one of them will pick up this kinda promising baby and add it to its portfolio. Then, we’ll certainly have more details to share. Stay tuned in the meantime…
