For those times when you need to make it painfully obvious that you don’t want the guy beside you on the bus reading your e-mails, or when you’re on some remote Caribbean island trying to pretend to do some work, but that dang glare keeps stopping you, the Mobile Visor is there to cover your BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM)’s screen. Seriously? $8.95 isn’t much to pay for something like this, but honestly, I find it hard to believe many people are either A) using their BlackBerry outdoors enough to warrant this level of glare protection or B) so paranoid about peeping toms that they wouldn’t just get a screen-hugging privacy screen. Crazy. If, in the one-in-a-million chance you want to pick one of these up, they’re available at NewPCGadgets.

These Visor shields from BlackBerry are a very innovative idea on their part. Indeed we all at some point or other feel that it would have been wonderful if we could hide our mobile screen from the prying eyes beside us in a public vehicle… :-)
