ArrivedOK Service in Free Beta: Let Friends and Family Know When You Land

Had to put together a short blurb on this one, as I thought it would be helpful/useful for the busy business travelers out there. A new service called ArrivedOK (hit up ArrivedOK.mobi) allows you to instantly send SMS messages to a list of people you setup, the moment you land. The ArrivedOK service triggers when your device registers on local cell towers at your landing location. You land, turn on your device, your device picks up signal, messages go out… Easy!
At the moment ArrivedOK is in a free beta. For more information, quick start instructions and free sign up, head on over to ArrivedOK.mobi.

I spend about 7 months a year on the road, this will be a nice tool to have. I just went to the site on my mobile, it doesn’t recognize that I have come from a mobile device… For a .mobi site that should be a standard. I am traveling tomorrow so I will see how this service goes.
