There are two kinds of Windows Mobile users. Those with finger-friendly navigation UIs, and those that don’t. For those of you fortunate enough to be playing with HTC’s TouchFLO or TouchFLO 3D UI overlay, well good for you. The rest of the Windows Mobile-using world will have to find other ways to use their stubby fingers (fingernails work well, we hear) to navigate Windows Mobile’s impossibly tiny menus. Thankfully, a new application, from the always helpful developers at xda-developers, optimizes your Windows Mobile menus for finger-based inputs.
Fingersuite, as it’s called, converts all WinMo menus and message boxes into larger, more touch-friendly lists. You can configure Fingersuite to automatically start on boot and skin your menus to your liking, giving you yet another level of customization on your Windows Mobile smartphone. Unfortunately, the larger menus will require you to scroll down to see the entire list of options, but that’s a problem we’re willing to live with in return for a bit of finger-navigation ease.
The video below demonstrates the power of Fingersuite.
