Those of you who read IntoMobile regularly will know I post NetLingo’s excellent Tech Jargon phrases from time to time – today we have the wonder of blended networking:
A form of social networking that combines life both offline and online. The latest trend for social networks on the Internet is becoming more focused on areas of interest such as art, sports, collecting, cars, animals, etc.
What a great term!
Mobiles are a real tool in the arsenal of this kind of SN interaction – their heady mix of mobile network, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS access mean they can act as a personal hub to tie together your interaction – and going forward we are only going to see more and more of this…!
