Official description of BlackBerry App World from RIM:

It’s here! Enter BlackBerry App World™ to download tons of great apps that allow you to work, play and do more with your time – right from your BlackBerry® smartphone. Simply browse and download a large selection of apps designed for your BlackBerry smartphone in one convenient location.

Put more of your life on your BlackBerry smartphone! Download BlackBerry App World for free to load up your BlackBerry smartphone with games, social networking, online shopping, personal productivity, organization tools and other fun and functional apps. It’s your world – bring more of it with you with BlackBerry App World!

I can hear the BlackBerry users rejoicing all around the world, lets just hope the new App World functions as intended… and that the hiccups are minimal (or non-existant). The pricing structure for apps still stands, as you can find a whackload of free apps… But the minimum price for paid apps remains at $2.99.

VERY exciting stuff for BlackBerry users today. Stay tuned for more in-depth coverage of the brand new BlackBerry App World from Simon and Will over at CTIA. If you’ve already tried out the new App World… What did you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down?
