Google Allows Tethering Apps for Non T-Mobile Users, Peace Restored… Sort of.

Remember my post a while back that outlined how Google banned tethering apps from the Android Market? It was all the ‘buzz’ around the Android blogosphere for awhile, and as I sort of expected, new details have come out on this one. Looks like Google (NSDQ: GOOG) is doing a bit of an about-face, even though the info leaked might have been wrong in the first place (who knows). All I know NOW is that Google is moving back towards my good books. In a note from Google to ‘WiFi Tether for Rood Users’ developer:
“We inadvertently unpublished your application for all mobile providers; if you like, we can restore your app so that all Android Market users outside the T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) US network will have access to your application”
As expected, carriers may have issues with certain apps from time to time. Case in point, the new tethering apps. At the very least here good on Google for partially lifting the ban. Android is supposed to be open… Right?

Ubuntu it’s getting better i think, but still it’s hard to install driver, and they are getting better in installing software, but i still preffered windows xp.
