With the exception of MAYBE the palm pre, which hasn't even been released yet so you can't even really judge, the Curve 8900 Javelin kills all the competition, hands down. I got mine a couple weeks ago and love it more every day. BTW, this thing is chalk full of shortcut keys in different apps....give it a shot some time, try guessing (ie. "b" to toggle between bedside mode in the clock/alarm, zoom in/out in the browser with "i" and "o")....this phone does everything! Highly recommended over anything else out there, even the oversized/overpriced Bold w/ easily scratched plastic sides.
