Twitter’s explosive popularity has seen people from all walks of life embracing the micro-blogging revolution. And, that means there are likely a good number of users with thumbs sore from tapping out tweets on their mobile phones. Twitter limits tweets to just 140 characters, but after a few dozen tweets, there’s bound to be some discomfort. To that end, TweetCall has just launched their voice-to-Twitter service. TweetCall allows you to place a call from your mobile phone and leave a voice message, which is then transcribed and posted to your Twitter account.
TweetCall makes it easier on us Twits to send out tweets on the go. Voice-to-text transcription technology has been gaining traction recently, and it only makes sense to apply the tech to Twitter.
TweetCall works like this:
1. Dial 1-877-TWEET-CALL
2. Speak your tweet
3. Your voice is transcribed and posted to Twitter as text!
You’ll have to first login to the TweetCall website and register your PIN before you can start using the service – security measures are a good thing.
