New iPhone on schedule for June launch!

It’s almost an accepted fact that Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) will be launching the new iPhone, possibly two new iPhones, this June or July. Given Apple’s short history with iPhone launches, it makes sense. Today, the Chinese-language Commercial Times is reporting that component suppliers are now shipping iPhone parts to hardware integrators. The ship dates are an apparently confirmation of the June launch window.
Component suppliers have proven to be somewhat reliable launch date sources. Apple won’t want to leave un-assembled parts or completely manufactured hardware lying around some Taiwanese factory for longer than necessary. We have to assume that it takes a certain amount of time to take shipment of all components and manufacture the hardware, and might help narrow down the launch window. Component supply checks shouldn’t be written off as complete speculation.
So, June it is. For now…

Facts are only acceptable if they are actually facts. Cut the crap, you speculators. This is an accepted ASSUMPTION that there will be a new iPhone this summer. Until an actual release from Apple is made, these damn analysts, bloggers, etc. should really stop with the speculative writings about what Apple (or any company) will or will not do.

“………an acceptable fact…” and “….almost an acceptable fact……..” are entirely different in meaning. Use of the word ‘almost’ serves to place emphasis on how strong, in the authors view, the evidence is for the ASSUMPTION that an iphone launch is nigh.
