1Ever wished you could print that perfect vacation picture straight from your iPhone? Sure, you could synchronize your iPhone photos with your desktop, and then upload the photos to a photo-printing service, and then order yourself a hard-copy of said photos. Or, if you like things a little simpler, you could download Phanfare‘s new Photon iPhone application and order photo prints directly from your iPhone.

Photon for iPhone, available for free on the iTunes AppStore, makes it as easy to order photo hard-prints from Phanfare’s photo printing service. Phanfare will print all your photos in high-quality 4×6 ($0.12), 5×7 ($0.79), 8×10 5($2.99) and even poster size prints.

Photon integrates itself with your iPhone, allowing you to take photos from within the application, store them locally and tap-to-order prints. You can even order prints of photos in your iPhone’s photo albums using Photon’s “Import” feature. And, to ensure you get the most out of your pictures, Photon includes a simple image editor that allows you to crop, balance brightness and contrast, add effects (blur, sharpen, invert, etc.) and add captions to your images before ordering your hard-prints.

Prints are shipped to your door, or wherever else on the globe you’d like them sent. There’s a per-order shipping fee, so you might want to order more than just a single print at a time.
