HTC Snap Passes FCC, Bound for T-Mobile
By Simon Sage on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 at 1:11 PM PST In FCC, HTC, T-Mobile
The HTC Snap, recently unveiled at CTIA Wireless (and unofficially a little before then), has leaped majestically across the FCC hurdles bearing the MAPL100 monicker (i.e. Maple) and, according to the paperwork, should work hunky-dory on T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s network. Previous rumours had pointed to a T-Mobile adoption, but the state of the Snap’s signature Inner Circle feature remains in limbo. Hopefully it will still make the cut, because besides that, the Windows Mobile-running Snap is little more than a BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) knock-off. Hit up the FCC filings for a closer look.
