U.S. Cellular launches LG Banter, too

U.S. Cellular is joining Alltel to offer the full QWERTY keyboard-equipped LG Banter. The mid-rage device is designed with heavy texter/social networking freak in mind, sporting a chat-style messaging interface and a powerful instant messaging application. To allow personalization, the phone supports the changeable faceplates, allowing users to express themselves with lime green and titanium variations.
Other specs include a 1.3 megapixel camera, music player, stereo Bluetooth support (A2DP), and of course a microSD memory card slot. All this could be yours for 50 bucks on a two-year contract, after rebate.
I just got the LG Banter today as a graduation gift, and would have to say that its the best phone I have ever had Its makes texting a breeze, and has a easy chat mode which makes this phone for the texters…… It has really cool fetures some are missing but otherwise its worth getting….. I really hope this phobe will be a hit!!!

If you like Video beware… This phone doesn’t have it.. I was amazed, as were the techs at US Cellular and LG when I called and tried to see if I was just missing some detail as to how to get to a prompt…. NOPE, NO VIDEO. If you want a qwerty keyboard and video you have to buy their internet… Might have been a nice phone otherwise, but I am going back to return and look elsewhere.
I LOVE this phone!!! It is the best phone I have EVER had!!!! I know it doesn’t have video, but i really don’t care because 1) I have a video camera that is really good 2) they are always crap anyway!! I would defenitly get it, its perfect for me!! I use it almost 24/7!!! And i LOVE the designs on the back of the changable covers!
