Bell Makes OS 4.7.0.122 for the BlackBerry Storm Available on the Web

In case you missed it, Bell has released OS 4.7.0.122 for the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm. The release was intended for their customers only, available as a download via Desktop Manager. However, now thanks to the lovely internet, Bell has published the same update online… So that means anyone with a BlackBerry Storm 9530 can download 4.7.0.122!
This release is ‘official’, at least in the eyes of Bell. If you’re on another carrier, do be careful as your carrier will not support you in any way… Don’t expect to be able to pick up the phone and have them help you with any issues you encounter. So, while the release is official, if you’re on a different carrier treat this one with care. As always, backup your device and take all necessary precautions before proceeding.
