Gadget Show Live 2009: Garmin

Following on from Will’s post just now, and because I also visited the stand today, I’ll give a quick mention to Garmin!
In addition to a wide product portfolio of Sat Nav devices, they also have two Mobile devices – the M20 and G60. The M20 is the Windows-powered device, the G60 is special cut of Linux.
I had the opportunity to play with both, and they seem to handling their multiple functions – unfortunately I had so much else to see, I couldn’t spend longer with them – but I can confirm the touch interface works well

Garmin is positioning very much as Garmin-Asus on the Mobile device side – so it will be interesting to see how these devices fare over the coming 12 months – there are a lot of devices coming to market, so it’s gonna be competitive out there!
