Oi…. Yep, time for another BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) OS update! This time around the update is of the unofficial kind, and it takes the BlackBerry Storm 9500 to 4.7.0.131. If you want to grab it and install, you can pick it up here via a typical download link at MegaUpload.
As with all of these unofficial updates, please take all necessary precautions before proceeding. Backup your device, cross your fingers and go for it. But better yet, if you’re not too sure what to do… Wait for an official release to make sure everything is ‘all good’. For anyone that does install the update, be sure to let us know if there’s anything groundbreaking in this latest build.
