MasterCard is joining the “iPhone revolution” with its own dedicated application. The so called MasterCard ATM Hunter provides iPhone and iPod Touch users with a simple yet very useful tool, enabling them to locate the nearest ATM no matter where in the world they are.
Naturally, iPhone’s location awareness is used (cellular triangulation if you’re on the original, non-GPS equipped iPhone) to help users along the way. Moreover, users can customize their hunt based on their unique banking needs – i.e. focusing their search to a specific bank, wheelchair accessible ATMs, drive-throughs. Finally, the application also features some helpful ATM safety tips…
Enough said. The application is free and damn useful, especially if you’re wondering around a foreign city. Here’s an AppStore link.
