AT&T looking to expand to African market

AT&T (NYSE: T) is looking to expand its operations into Africa in partnership with South Africa’s Telkom. The plan is to use Telkom’s existing network which spans across 35 countries, to supply services to multinational companies operating on the continent.

According to AT&T’s business division, Ronald Spears, AT&T’s existing multinational clients are increasingly interested in the African market, and the carrier should be there to help them with their services.

Among the services AT&T will offer to its clients in Africa are data systems and networks for businesses and information security…

    I think they should up-date the rest of their sites to 3G being as that is what I am paying for but, not getting, then they can go where ever they want to!!!
